SOC & SIEM Specialist

About the role

Scalian is seeking a SOC & SIEM Specialist to strengthen its security operations and governance. You will work with cross‑functional teams to define, implement and monitor security monitoring frameworks for critical assets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain SOC governance, policies, standards and procedures.
• Govern SIEM strategy, log collection, retention and protection requirements.
• Develop and monitor detection use cases, KPIs/KRIs such as MTTD, MTTA, alert volume and false‑positive rate.
• Oversee SOC/MSSP performance, manage escalations to Incident Response and Crisis Management.
• Ensure alignment with NIS2, support gap assessments and remediation plans.
• Coordinate with IT, Cloud, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Internal Audit teams and support audits.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in SOC, SIEM, detection engineering or cybersecurity governance.
• Strong understanding of SOC architectures and security monitoring.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM solutions, especially Splunk; knowledge of XDR/SOAR is a plus.
• Good knowledge of log‑based detection, MITRE ATT&CK and Incident Response processes.
• Familiarity with NIS2 and ISO 27001 requirements.
• Fluent in French and English, both oral and written.
