Site Operations Lead – Data Center (Bilingual English/French)

About the role

The Site Operations Lead will oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and control infrastructure within Google’s high‑availability data centers. This bilingual position supports client relationships across the region, ensuring optimal performance and rapid issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical teams responsible for power, HVAC, generators, UPS, and electrical distribution systems.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair data‑center components, including piping and non‑critical electrical/mechanical parts.
• Develop and implement cost‑reduction strategies while improving overall facility efficiency.
• Manage emergency response and outage recovery to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional business units to align operations with company standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years managing technical teams in electrical, mechanical, and controls environments.
• 5+ years of experience developing and managing managers.
• Fluent English and French communication skills.
