Site Engineer – International Construction Project in Belgium

About the role

Join a leading building contractor on a major construction project in Belgium. This position offers a junior to mid‑level engineer the chance to gain valuable international experience while working on a large‑scale site.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out setting‑out and surveying duties using Total Station and GPS equipment.
• Ensure works are completed in line with drawings and specifications.
• Assist with site coordination and daily engineering activities.
• Monitor and report on project progress.
• Liaise with subcontractors, site management, and design teams.
• Review drawings and implement the latest revisions on‑site.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards.
• Support QA/QC checks and inspections.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 1–4 years of experience in a Site Engineer role.
• Experience using surveying equipment such as Total Station and GPS.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a site team environment.
• Experience on large‑scale construction projects is desirable.
