Shift Leader – Fast Casual Restaurant

About the role

Join Hawaiian Poke Bowl as a Shift Leader and help create a vibrant, efficient dining experience. You will guide a team of student workers, ensure every bowl meets quality standards, and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of student employees during opening and closing shifts.
• Maintain high food quality and presentation standards for every order.
• Assist customers in building their bowls while providing friendly, professional service.
• Oversee shift operations, including cash handling, stock checks, and cleanliness.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve restaurant performance.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old and available for full‑time work (38 hours/week).
• Experience in hospitality or food service; leadership experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work flexible evenings and weekends.
• Customer‑focused attitude with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Eagerness to learn safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of HACCP or willingness to be trained.
