SharePoint Platform Administrator / Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Architect / Technical Administrator to join our Digital Workplace (Infrastructure & Operations) team. The role will define, govern, and evolve a Microsoft‑based collaboration platform (SharePoint Online, SharePoint On‑Premises and Power Platform) while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, scalability and governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve SharePoint architecture for both Online and On‑Premises environments.
• Establish and enforce governance, standards and best practices for SharePoint and Power Platform.
• Review and validate solution designs and guide teams in building scalable, secure solutions.
• Define architecture patterns for sites, content, access and development rules.
• Translate business requirements into compliant technical solutions and act as the architecture authority in design and governance processes.
• Govern Power Platform usage (Power Apps, Power Automate) and prevent shadow‑IT through clear standards and controls.
• Ensure security, compliance, cost and license optimisation.
• Align stakeholders across IT and business functions.

Required profile

• Strong experience with SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint On‑Premises.
• Solid background in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration.
• Experience governing Power Platform solutions.
• Good knowledge of enterprise architecture and governance models.
• Ability to structure complex requirements into practical solutions.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
