Services Sales Manager – Defense & Homeland Security

About the role

Thales is looking for a Services Sales Manager to develop commercial opportunities within the Defence and Homeland Security market. Based in Tubize, you will focus on domestic (Belgian and Luxembourgish) customers while also supporting international projects. The role contributes directly to the company’s strategic objectives by promoting Thales’ portfolio of products, solutions and services.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Thales’ products, solutions and services that meet client objectives.
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to increase services sales.
• Arrange and lead business meetings with prospective and existing clients.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals.
• Build and maintain long‑lasting client relationships and expand personal network within client ecosystems.
• Act as a trusted advisor for key accounts, stakeholders and executive sponsors.
• Apply value‑selling across systems, services, concepts and business models.
• Report on opportunity follow‑up and sales results on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with internal sales, marketing and service delivery teams.
• Present creative service approaches such as in‑service support, managed services, professional services and Performance Based Logistics.
• Contribute to the development of a comprehensive services catalogue.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales within the defence or security sector.
• Ability to develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and executive sponsors.
• Strong understanding of domestic (Belgium/Luxembourg) and international defence markets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Track record of achieving sales targets and contributing to strategic objectives.
