Service Operations Engineer (M/F/X)

About the role

The Service Operations Engineer ensures the reliable operation of Kinetic PowerPack units covered by service contracts. Working closely with field technicians and internal support teams, you will schedule, coordinate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and organise preventive or curative maintenance interventions for contracted PowerPack units (1st line support).
• Coordinate interventions with the Field Service Technicians team and manage on‑site execution.
• Analyse machine or system breakdowns, alarms and power losses, providing 1st or 2nd line support.
• Determine root causes, produce technical reports and oversee implementation of corrective actions.
• Participate in a 24/7 rotational support roster to guarantee worldwide coverage.
• Manage warranty claims in collaboration with internal departments.
• Lead regular review meetings with regional subsidiaries to ensure client satisfaction.
• Deliver training at the factory training centre for internal colleagues, partners and end‑clients.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Electrical or Electromechanical engineering, or a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar technical after‑sales role within a multinational environment.
• Strong interpersonal, organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Customer‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent in French and English; additional language is a plus.
