Service Desk Technician – Brussels

About the role

We are seeking a Service Desk professional to provide Digital Workplace support for an EU institution in Brussels. The role involves handling user interactions across multiple channels and ensuring smooth operation of desktop environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line support for Windows 10+ workstations and Office 2016+ applications.
• Manage user requests via phone, ticketing portal, chat and messaging.
• Guide users on software, services and applications, and follow up on incidents.
• Perform basic server, Active Directory and network troubleshooting.
• Execute backup/restore, antivirus, patch and software distribution tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• 7+ years experience for senior level, 5+ years for mid level, or 3+ years for junior level.
• Fluent in English and French (C1 level).
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Windows 10 (and later) workstation support.
• Microsoft Office 2016 (or later).
• Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments.
• Active Directory account management.
• Network setup and protocol understanding.
• Backup and restore procedures.
• Antivirus management.
