Server Assistant

About the role

The Server Assistant ensures a clean and welcoming dining environment by efficiently bussing tables, setting up stations, and supporting the front‑of‑house team. You will interact directly with guests, creating personal experiences that encourage repeat visits.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and set tables to restaurant standards.
• Deposit dishes in the designated dish‑room area.
• Pull dirty plates while guests remain seated.
• Serve beverages promptly and restock bussing stations.
• Sweep floors and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Assist with buffet set‑up, refills, and room service as needed.
• Support other restaurant staff, including expediting food to tables.
• Take on additional projects or tasks as assigned by management.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar or supportive role in an upscale environment (preferred).
• Food Handler Certification, if applicable.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
• Hardworking, dedicated, and passionate about hospitality.
• Flexible schedule – able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of restaurant point‑of‑sale (POS) systems or willingness to learn.
