Senior Technician (Digital Infrastructure)

About the role

Based in Brussels, you will join the NATO Communications and Information Agency to help transform its IT services in support of NATO’s Digital Endeavour. As part of CSU Brussels, you will provide 24/7 ICT support to the Secretary General, International Staff, International Military Staff and other customers at NATO Headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Follow standard design approaches and patterns to create simple system designs and resolve minor design issues.
• Define software modules for integration builds and produce build definitions for each software generation.
• Accept completed software modules, ensuring they meet defined criteria.
• Provision, install, configure and maintain infrastructure services and components.
• Monitor, measure and report on infrastructure load, performance and security events.
• Perform regular high‑performance, scalable backups and restores on schedule and track off‑site storage.
• Implement documented configurations for storage allocation, installation and maintenance of secure storage systems following operational procedures.

Required profile

• Driven and enthusiastic senior‑level professional with experience in digital infrastructure.
• Ability to follow established design patterns and resolve minor design issues.
• Competence in provisioning, configuring and maintaining infrastructure services.
• Experience monitoring performance and security events and conducting backup/restore operations.
