Senior System Administrator – Intune & Packaging Expert

About the role

The Operations & Infrastructure team is looking for a senior system administrator who will act as the expert for Microsoft Intune and application packaging. You will ensure the endpoint management environment is stable, secure and continuously improved, supporting the university’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, manage and optimise Microsoft Intune, including device onboarding, policy creation, security settings and compliance monitoring.
• Prepare, test and distribute software packages using tools such as AppV Sequencer, Robopack and SCCM to enable reliable, automated application roll‑outs.
• Improve existing deployment processes and automation scripts, and support migrations to cloud‑based endpoint management solutions.
• Provide expert advice to the Operations & Infrastructure team on best practices, optimisation and troubleshooting of endpoint management and software distribution.
• Resolve complex technical issues related to device management, security and software delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a System Administrator with design, management and maintenance responsibilities.
• Fluent Dutch (CEFR C2) and strong communication skills in English.
• Experience working in a higher‑education environment is preferred.
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes, especially change management.
