Senior Software Engineer – Fullstack (Flex)

About the role

Payflip is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join its growing Product team. You will work in autonomous squads that own the full product lifecycle, from discovery to production, and collaborate closely with engineers, product managers and the CTO to deliver on an ambitious roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack features using React, Node.js (NestJS), GraphQL and MongoDB.
• Own the end‑to‑end delivery of product initiatives, balancing speed, quality and technical debt.
• Contribute to engineering culture by sharing best practices, mentoring teammates and shaping documentation.
• Collaborate with designers, PMs and leadership to define success criteria and drive product outcomes.

Required profile

• Proficiency with most of Payflip’s core technologies and a strong mastery in at least one domain (backend, frontend, infra).
• Ability to manage technical debt pragmatically while making rapid, impact‑focused trade‑offs.
• Product‑builder mindset: think beyond code, define success and drive it to completion.
• Fluent English and a high internal drive, curiosity and willingness to take ownership.
