Senior Site Manager – Automation & Electrical Projects

About the role

As a Senior Site Manager you will lead the on‑site execution of ABB Robotics automation and electrical projects, ensuring high‑quality installations, smooth commissioning and satisfied customers. You will work directly at customer sites, bridging engineering intent with practical execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all on‑site activities for automation and electrical works.
• Supervise external suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality compliance.
• Organise safety introductions, toolbox meetings and document all safety procedures.
• Act as the main on‑site contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Coach, guide and supervise a team of technicians, allocating work and monitoring progress.
• Translate engineering designs into practical installation, troubleshooting and commissioning tasks.
• Provide hands‑on support during installation, testing and commissioning phases.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing on‑site automation and electrical projects.
• Strong leadership and team‑coaching abilities.
• Excellent safety awareness and ability to enforce safety rules.
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong communication skills.
