Senior Project Manager

About the role

Manage individual projects through to final acceptance, ensuring they are completed on time and meet the customers’ agreed specifications and Dematic’s quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects with full responsibility over budget, schedule, quality and EHS.
• Lead interdisciplinary project teams to deliver projects on time and within cost framework.
• Serve as the primary contact for the customer throughout the project.
• Handle contract management, including change and claims management.
• Perform scheduling and control activities.
• Control costs and cash flow with accurate forecasts of overspending and underspending.
• Manage risk and provide project status reporting.
• Coordinate specification and procurement of equipment, products and services with relevant departments.
• Ensure compliance with project management processes and policies.

Required profile

• University degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology, or business administration with a logistics specialization, or comparable qualification.
• Proven project experience with strong cost, time and quality awareness.
• Experience in the logistics sector is desirable.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (approximately 30%) and a valid driving licence.
