Senior Project Manager – Electrification

About the role

bpost is looking for a Senior Project Manager – Electrification to lead strategic energy‑transition projects across a network of more than 300 buildings. You will drive the rollout of one of Belgium’s largest electrification programmes, covering EV charging, solar installations and other renewable initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee electrification projects such as EV charging infrastructure, solar panel installations and renewable energy solutions.
• Develop and implement long‑term strategies for charging networks and green‑energy integration.
• Provide technical expertise on electrical systems, ensuring compliance with medium/high‑voltage standards, cabling and substation requirements.
• Manage project leaders and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Maintain strong project governance, including planning, budgeting, risk management and stakeholder communication.
• Promote sustainability and innovation by integrating best practices and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electromechanics, electrical engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years of project‑management experience, preferably in electrification, energy or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of medium/high‑voltage systems, switchgear and cable calculations.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Fluency in Dutch and French, with good English proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and motivate teams.
