Senior .NET for Android Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior .NET for Android Developer to join a client’s development team in Brussels. You will own the full lifecycle of mobile applications, turning business requirements into reliable, scalable software that runs on Android devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using .NET for Android.
• Collaborate with solution architects, business stakeholders, and other developers to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Take responsibility for technical solutions from design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable code following Clean Code, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.
• Integrate with backend REST APIs and implement offline/online synchronization.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement activities.
• Apply modern development practices such as automated unit testing, version control, and secure coding.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of Android development experience (native or .NET for Android).
• At least 3 years of professional .NET development experience.
• Proven ability to write automated unit tests across multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of Clean Code, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.
• Excellent English communication skills and professional proficiency in Dutch or French.
• Willingness to work onsite in Brussels at least two days per week.
