Senior Manager – Project Engineering

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Manager to lead engineering and design activities for large, complex capital infrastructure projects at its Beerse campus in Belgium. The role bridges business objectives with technical execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and translate project requirements into detailed engineering solutions.
• Lead and coordinate internal technical teams and external design consultants.
• Secure appropriate tools and resources to support project delivery.
• Align project execution with Johnson & Johnson’s business goals and Engineering & Property Services (E&PS) delivery practices.
• Contribute to regional operational strategy and business‑focused objectives.
• Drive personal and team talent development within the Global and Regional Engineering & Design function.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering and design for large capital infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to define project requirements and coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Experience shaping regional operational strategies and achieving business‑focused goals.
• Demonstrated capability in talent development and team leadership.
