Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

Join Faktion, a leader in enterprise AI solutions, as a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer. You will provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and deliver robust, scalable applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy high‑quality full‑stack applications using TypeScript, React and Node.js.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, product managers and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into software solutions.
• Define and drive the technical roadmap, prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery.
• Lead and mentor a team of full‑stack developers, conduct code reviews and promote best practices.
• Implement automation for testing, CI/CD pipelines and deployment using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Architect, build and maintain GraphQL and REST APIs with NestJS, and manage databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB.
• Oversee performance monitoring, optimization, incident resolution and comprehensive documentation.

Required profile

• Native Dutch and English communication skills (French a plus).
• BSc/BA in Computer Science or related field; MSc is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of full‑stack development experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or technical‑lead role.
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive technical direction and deliver large‑scale applications.

Required skills

• TypeScript, React, Node.js, NestJS.
• GraphQL (Apollo, TypeGraphQL) and REST API development.
• Modern CSS, Tailwind, component libraries (ShadCN).
• Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Monorepo tools (NxDev, TurboRepo) and testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress).
• Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure (App Service, Functions, AKS, Cosmos DB, SQL) and AWS.
• CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
