Senior Financial Controller – Lead Finance Team in Automotive Industry

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to take ownership of a finance department within a modern automotive manufacturing site near Verviers. The role combines strategic finance leadership with hands‑on operational support in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily activities of a finance team of four, reporting directly to the CFO.
• Prepare and present financial analyses, KPIs, forecasts and performance reports to support strategic decisions.
• Drive monthly closings, budgeting processes, cost analyses and profitability monitoring in a production setting.
• Act as a business partner for operational departments, providing financial insights and supporting pricing decisions.
• Contribute to process optimisation, audits and continuous‑improvement projects to strengthen financial performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of finance experience with solid controlling background (audit candidates need at least 6 years total).
• Proven experience in a production/industrial environment (manufacturing, automotive, etc.).
• Fluent in French and good command of English; German is a plus.
