Senior Consultant – Strategy & Transformation (Financial Sector)

About the role

BDO is seeking a Senior Consultant to support financial institutions in their transformation journeys. You will work closely with clients in banking, insurance, and related services to analyse processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design solutions that align with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients in adapting to market changes across operations, customer services, and finance transformation.
• Conduct in‑depth business‑process analyses and propose actionable recommendations.
• Facilitate workshops with subject‑matter experts to gather requirements and define assumptions.
• Coordinate activities across multiple teams and support project/program managers to drive solutions forward.
• Apply sector knowledge in daily banking, lending, investment, and life/non‑life insurance contexts.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Management, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of consulting or financial‑sector experience.
• Native‑level Dutch and French, with strong business English.
• Proactive learner, ambitious, and able to work autonomously while collaborating in teams.
• Comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
