Senior Consultant – Indirect Tax Technology (SAP Document Reporting & Compliance)

About the role

EY’s Indirect Tax Technology team is looking for a Senior Consultant to lead the configuration and implementation of SAP Document Reporting & Compliance (SAP DRC) solutions. You will work on large‑scale finance and tax transformation projects for multinational clients, helping them automate e‑invoicing, e‑reporting and statutory reporting across SAP S/4HANA environments.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse indirect tax requirements and translate them into SAP DRC configuration.
• Support end‑to‑end implementation of SAP DRC, including requirements capture, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment and post‑go‑live support.
• Configure and optimise the SAP DRC/eDocument cockpit to streamline invoice creation, validation, submission and exception handling.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional tax and consulting teams to deliver integrated tax technology solutions.
• Maintain strong client relationships, provide high‑quality service and identify opportunities for practice growth.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise on their impact on SAP DRC configurations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business‑related discipline (e.g., Economics, Engineering, IT, Accounting, Tax).
• Minimum two years of experience in SAP DRC implementation and configuration for e‑invoicing, e‑reporting or statutory reporting.
• Strong understanding of indirect tax processes and requirements.

Required skills

• SAP Document Reporting & Compliance (SAP DRC) configuration.
• SAP S/4HANA environment.
