Senior Cloud Operations Engineer (Remote, EU)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to join our international team supporting mission‑critical defence applications. The role is fully remote within the EU, with occasional travel to Belgium for meetings and workshops.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support cloud‑hosted applications in production across multi‑cloud environments.
• Monitor application health, availability and performance, and respond to incidents.
• Drive root‑cause analysis, resolution and continuous improvement of reliability.
• Optimize performance and operational readiness, handling deployments and releases.
• Create and maintain runbooks, operational procedures and documentation.
• Collaborate with development, platform and infrastructure teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience for senior level (10+ years for expert level) in cloud operations or SRE.
• Proven experience supporting business‑critical applications in regulated or enterprise environments.
• Professional proficiency in English; French is a plus.
