Senior Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

Devoteam is looking for a Senior Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate cloud‑native solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will create automated CI/CD pipelines, ensure platform reliability and contribute to an Agile engineering culture.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement Azure services such as App Services, Functions, AKS, API Management and SQL Database.
• Design, maintain and optimise Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions pipelines using YAML, Terraform, Bicep and PowerShell.
• Conduct PoCs for emerging Azure technologies and generative AI use cases.
• Integrate core platform services (storage, networking, identity, monitoring) and enforce secure, scalable designs.
• Collaborate with developers, cloud engineers and stakeholders in Scrum teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Diagnose complex cloud and DevOps issues, optimise cost, performance and security.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience with Azure automation and modern DevOps practices.
• Proactive, “business‑owner” mindset with the ability to identify and drive innovation.
• Strong communication skills to translate stakeholder requirements into technical designs.
• Relevant certifications are a plus (Azure AI Fundamentals, AZ‑104, AZ‑400, AZ‑700, CKA, Terraform Associate).
