Senior Auditor – Liège

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Auditor to join our Liège office. You will work on a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from multinational corporations to innovative start‑ups, turning complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex audit engagements, acting as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Develop and execute robust audit procedures, prepare detailed working papers, and ensure compliance with professional standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and tailored advice.
• Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering their technical development.
• Stay current with audit standards and techniques via BDO Academy and external training.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Business Engineering or a related field; additional financial‑economic qualifications are a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of audit experience with proven technical and client‑management abilities.
• Fluent in Dutch or French and English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, strong analytical mindset, curiosity, and adaptability.
