Senior Auditor – Antwerp

About the role

BDO is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its Antwerp office. You will work on diverse audit engagements, turning complex financial data into clear insights for a wide range of clients, from multinational corporations to innovative start‑ups.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex audit projects, acting as the primary contact for audit clients.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships by asking the right questions and delivering clear, actionable findings.
• Design and execute robust audit procedures, prepare detailed working papers, and ensure compliance with high professional standards.
• Mentor junior team members, sharing technical knowledge and fostering their development.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest audit standards and techniques through BDO Academy and external training.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Business Engineering or a related field; additional financial‑economic qualifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of audit experience with strong technical and client‑management capabilities.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, curiosity, and flexibility to adapt to various client sectors.
