Senior AI Engineer in Computer Vision

About the role

As a Senior AI Engineer at Faktion, you will design, build, and deploy computer vision systems that solve real‑world problems for customers. The role blends hands‑on machine learning with strong software engineering and MLOps practices, covering the full lifecycle from data exploration to production monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, train, evaluate and maintain deep‑learning models for object detection, image classification and multispectral imagery.
• Build and maintain training and inference pipelines, primarily using Azure Machine Learning.
• Design data pipelines for large image datasets and implement data quality checks.
• Deploy models to production, optimise for latency, throughput and hardware constraints, and debug issues in the field.
• Improve shared ML platforms, internal SDKs, CI/CD tooling and code quality standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years of experience building production machine‑learning systems with a focus on computer vision.
• Strong Python programming skills and hands‑on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
