Security Specialist

About the role

The Security Specialist will bridge application design, AI solutions and cybersecurity at TOMRA Food. In this hands‑on position you will ensure that new and existing applications are built and operated securely while meeting business, regulatory and organisational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Embed security requirements into applications and AI solutions without limiting agility.
• Translate technical security concepts into clear documentation and support teams in applying best practices.
• Document security controls, configurations and risk assessments for new and evolving solutions.
• Coordinate investigations with specialised security teams and contribute to threat modelling and secure design reviews.
• Act as the primary contact for security topics in live systems, maintain monitoring and incident‑response documentation, and support compliance reporting.
• Promote continuous improvement, share knowledge across multicultural teams and uphold professional conduct.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in IT, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Experience with ISO 27001 certification.
• Proficient in spoken and written English; additional languages a plus.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, data governance and security frameworks.
