Security Specialist

About the role

TOMRA Food is looking for a Security Specialist who will bridge application design, AI solutions, and cybersecurity. In this hands‑on position you will ensure that applications are built and operated securely while meeting business, regulatory, and organisational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Embed security requirements into applications and AI solutions without limiting agility.
• Translate technical security concepts into clear, practical documentation and support teams in applying best practices.
• Document security controls, configurations, and risk assessments for new and evolving solutions.
• Coordinate investigations with specialised security teams and contribute to threat modelling and secure design reviews.
• Act as the primary contact for security topics in live systems, maintain monitoring and incident‑response documentation, and support compliance reporting.
• Track and report the effectiveness of implemented controls and promote continuous improvement.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately, follow internal policies, and support organisational values.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in a similar or related role.
• Proficient in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong understanding of application architecture and data governance.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, with awareness of AI/ML security concepts.
• Experience producing high‑quality technical and security documentation.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
