Security Engineer – Vulnerability & Hardening

About the role

As a Security Engineer specializing in vulnerability management and system hardening, you will help strengthen the security posture of KEYES' clients across Belgium and Europe. You will work with senior experts to design, implement and continuously improve security processes for a wide range of technologies, including cloud and emerging AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and analyse vulnerabilities in infrastructures, systems, applications and cloud environments.
• Support vulnerability management activities such as risk assessment, prioritisation and remediation tracking.
• Implement system hardening measures following industry best practices.
• Contribute to the design and optimisation of security processes and operational procedures.
• Assist in security assessments of emerging technologies, including AI solutions.
• Provide technical input to improve client security postures.
• Participate in PKI and certificate lifecycle management.
• Support security investigations, remediation efforts and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong interest in cybersecurity and a proactive attitude towards emerging threats.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary security team.
• Good analytical skills for vulnerability assessment and risk prioritisation.
• Willingness to stay up‑to‑date with the latest security trends and technologies.
