Sales Manager – BeNeLux Territory

About the role

Join NORIT, the world leader in activated carbon, as a Sales Manager responsible for the BeNeLux territory. You will drive revenue, build long‑term client partnerships and expand market presence across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the BeNeLux territory, achieving target revenue, volume, margins and payment terms.
• Develop forecasts, sales plans and strategies to meet growth objectives.
• Analyse customer profitability and position NORIT’s differentiated solutions.
• Negotiate complex sales contracts and present product benefits, collaborating with Application Specialists.
• Provide commercial support and coordinate with internal stakeholders and production sites (≈30% of time).
• Identify new market opportunities, gather competitive intelligence and maintain accurate budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Lead indirect channel and distribution management initiatives.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date sales funnel in Salesforce.com.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or biochemistry.
• 5–10 years of technical sales experience in chemicals, food & beverage, water treatment or biogas (experience with activated carbon is a plus).
• Strong ownership mindset, proactive sales drive and ability to enter new markets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Dutch and English.
