Sales Engineer / Account Manager – Specialty Chemicals

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Engineer / Account Manager to join a global leader in specialty chemicals and industrial solutions. You will own a defined territory in Belgium, managing existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities across multiple industry sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established sales territory.
• Develop long‑term relationships with current customers.
• Identify, qualify, and win new business opportunities.
• Provide technical advice and solution‑based sales proposals.
• Collaborate closely with internal technical and product specialists.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical sales or account management within the chemical industry.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
• Comfortable engaging with production managers, formulators, R&D teams, procurement and technical decision‑makers.
• Motivated to combine technical discussions with business development.

Required skills

• Knowledge of specialty or commodity chemicals.
• Technical sales experience in the chemicals sector.
