Sales Application Engineer – Sealing Technology (Belgium)

About the role

A multinational component manufacturer is looking for a self-driven sales application engineer to expand its Belgian market. You will manage and develop the OEM business and win industry-leading customers in the core sealing technology segment (food and beverage, process, drinking water and general industry). The role reports to the General Manager in Holland and involves working from home, at client sites or in the Zoetermeer office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop the OEM business to drive strategy and growth in the Belgian market
• Win customers in the sealing technology segment and initiate sales and customer development plans
• Work closely with clients' technical teams to design and develop solutions to their technical challenges
• Give input on market development to place customer solutions successfully and profitably

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or Business
• 5+ years of experience in B2B solution sales, key account management and technical project management
• Experience in sealing technology or a similar industry is a significant advantage
• Sales-oriented, independent personality with strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to present ideas to different audiences and solve technical problems
• Dutch and English; French is a significant advantage
• Flexibility to work in a satellite office and report to the General Manager in Holland
• Willingness to travel up to 50% in the region and once a month to the Zoetermeer office
