RPG/AS400 & JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Developer

About the role

This remote position is for an experienced RPG/AS400 and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne developer based in Belgium. You will design, develop, and support enterprise applications on IBM iSeries platforms while delivering custom JD Edwards solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify, debug and maintain RPG, RPGLE and CL programs on IBM AS400/iSeries.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, resolve technical issues and optimise system performance.
• Customize and support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules such as Financials, Inventory, Distribution, Procurement and Manufacturing.
• Create and maintain JD Edwards components including Business Functions, UBEs, Named Event Rules, Table Conversions and Business Views.
• Use Object Management Workbench for version control and lifecycle management.
• Design SQL queries, stored procedures and data processes on DB2 databases.
• Implement integrations with external systems via APIs, EDI, flat‑files and other data exchange methods.
• Support JD Edwards upgrades, ESU installations, patch deployments and system enhancements.
• Provide technical support to users and collaborate with functional, infrastructure and business teams.
• Document technical specifications, development guidelines and support procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing on IBM AS400/iSeries platforms.
• Hands‑on expertise with RPG, RPGLE and CL programming.
• Practical experience customizing, supporting or developing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications.
• Strong understanding of DB2 SQL and data integration techniques.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with distributed teams.
