Remote Full Stack Developer (Java - Angular)

About the role

A remote full-stack developer position for EU citizens only, with a deadline of 23/10/26. The role covers the entire stack, from front-end interfaces and APIs to server-side business logic, database work and deployment, and requires strong English.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse functional and non-functional requirements and turn them into technical solutions, and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Design and implement front-end architecture, user interactions and responsive web pages, and build back-end applications with core business logic.
• Write clean, maintainable code, review others' code and write automated unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
• Apply secure development practices, including input validation, authentication and authorisation, secrets management and protection against common web vulnerabilities.
• Design and develop REST and SOAP APIs, and compile and analyse data, processes, configuration and code to troubleshoot issues.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms using CI/CD pipelines and containerization, and take part in release and support activities.
• Work with other developers, architects, DevOps and security specialists, and write technical documentation.

Required profile

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring and Spring Boot, including REST APIs and server-side business logic.
• Experience with at least one modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework, preferably Angular.
• Relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL and/or Oracle, including SQL, JPA, data modelling and query optimisation.
• Docker, CI/CD pipelines and deployment to containerised/cloud environments.
• REST APIs secured with OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, with OpenAPI documentation, and awareness of OWASP Top 10 risks.
• Ability to ramp up quickly, collaborate in teams, attend multi-lingual meetings and work autonomously.
• English proficiency; French is an asset.
• Advanced level; equivalent certified certifications accepted.
