Regional Controller – Benelux

About the role

The Regional Controller for the Benelux region will lead all core financial activities for Abbott Diabetes Care, ensuring robust governance, accurate reporting, and strategic insight to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate timely financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, in line with IFRS and local regulations.
• Oversee internal and external reporting, auditor liaison, and statutory filings.
• Provide financial analysis, risk assessment, and performance insights to senior management.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning in partnership with commercial and operational teams.
• Maintain strong financial controls, credit management, inventory valuation, and cost control across the region.
• Lead, develop, and manage a team of Controllers, handling performance, coaching, and talent decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, preferably in an affiliate environment supporting commercial operations.
• Fluent in English and French or Dutch, both spoken and written.
