Quality & Safety Manager – Brewing (Brussels)

About the role

We are looking for a Quality & Safety Manager to further develop our existing quality programme at our Port Sud brewery in Brussels and to create a dedicated programme for our non‑alcoholic beers.

Key responsibilities

• Devise and establish quality procedures, standards and specifications.
• Manage samplings, monitor performance and analyse relevant data.
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations to drive quality improvements.
• Set and enforce health and safety standards.
• Define and enforce quality requirements with external suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and boost efficiency.
• Maintain controls and documentation procedures.
• Train staff and provide tools to achieve top quality standards.
• Occasionally assist with brewing and packaging.

Required profile

• Passion for craft beer.
• Academic background in brewing, food science, bioengineering, agronomy, microbiology or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a quality role, preferably in brewery or food/beverage production.
• Hands‑on attitude and comfortable working close to production.
• Analytical, structured and pragmatic mindset.
• Clear communicator with influencing skills.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Fluent French and comfortable working in English.
• Experience with non‑alcoholic beers is a plus.
