Quality Officer – Offshore Projects

About the role

Amaris Consulting is seeking an experienced Quality Officer to support a large‑scale offshore engineering programme in Belgium. You will be responsible for safeguarding the highest quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with multidisciplinary international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and monitor all Quality Assurance activities across the offshore infrastructure project.
• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the project’s Quality Management System.
• Serve as the primary contact for quality‑related matters with internal stakeholders and external contractors.
• Review, assess, and challenge quality documentation supplied by contractors and subcontractors.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and support corrective actions.
• Track quality performance indicators, non‑conformities, and corrective actions.
• Identify quality risks and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are applied.
• Promote a strong quality culture across multidisciplinary project teams.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including solid experience in Quality Assurance for engineering or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, standards, and control processes.
• Experience with large‑scale infrastructure, civil engineering, offshore, maritime or EPCI projects is a strong asset.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and documentation management abilities.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is an asset.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Belgium and offshore.
