Quality Manager Northern Europe

About the role

The Quality Manager for Northern Europe will lead the region’s quality assurance function for a global fresh‑produce company. This senior position combines hands‑on operational management with strategic leadership, ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the QA department for the Northern Europe region, managing budget, team performance and operational oversight.
• Coordinate quality control activities across all ports and supervise both internal QA staff and external inspection partners.
• Support commercial and operations teams on stock management, quality‑related issues and the implementation of quality procedures.
• Oversee field trials and experiments related to production, shipping and packaging.
• Act as the central point of contact for production sites, providing feedback and driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in quality assurance within the food or fresh‑produce industry.
• Strong ability to build trust, foster collaboration and shape a high‑performing quality organization.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, both internally and with external partners.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
