Quality Control Inspector – Aerospace

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join SABCA’s Brussels engineering hub, supporting the design and manufacture of aircraft and space launcher components. You will ensure that products and processes meet EN‑9100 and ISO‑14001 standards, performing inspections and verifying production documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual measurements using tools such as micrometers, calipers, diameter gauges, panameters and hardness testers.
• Conduct three‑dimensional CMM measurements and analyse the resulting reports.
• Carry out visual inspections according to customer specifications.
• Create, follow up and close non‑conformity reports.
• Validate production dossiers and maintain accurate quality documentation.
• Prepare and track FAI/G‑R&R reports and ensure planned quality controls are executed.
• Support compliance with EN‑9100 and ISO‑14001 standards.

Required profile

• Higher education degree (bachelor’s) in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in a quality control environment, preferably aerospace.
• Fluent written and spoken Dutch, French and English.
• Ability to work shifts and follow strict procedures.

Required skills

• Micrometer, caliper, diameter gauge, panameter, hardness tester.
• Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operation.
• Interpretation of 2‑D technical drawings.
• Basic computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP.
• 3‑D CAD software experience, preferably CATIA.
