About the role
Join a growing organisation as a Quality Assurance Officer, playing a key role in safeguarding product quality, driving process excellence, and supporting operational performance within a food production environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform second‑level reviews of quality controls and production assessments.
- Analyse quality data, identify trends, deviations and define corrective actions.
- Support investigations of non‑conforming products and quality‑related issues.
- Review laboratory results and determine necessary follow‑up actions.
- Conduct daily product assessments (taste, texture, appearance, colour, specifications) and approve, investigate or block products.
- Coordinate sampling, testing and analysis activities.
- Carry out hygiene audits, production inspections and quality monitoring.
- Monitor microbiological, nutritional and other laboratory analyses.
- Manage calibration and verification of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain and improve quality procedures, methods and work instructions.
- Support document management, process harmonisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage laboratory stock and consumables.
- Collaborate closely with production, research, commercial teams and other stakeholders.
Required profile
- Experience in quality assurance, quality control or compliance within a production environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quality data and identify trends.
- Experience investigating deviations and supporting corrective actions.
- Knowledge of audits, inspections and quality monitoring activities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational setting.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and independent decision‑making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Interest in process optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Experience with quality documentation, procedures and work instructions.
- Affinity with manufacturing environments and product quality assessment.
- Strong sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability.
