QC Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for a QC Support Technician to join our Quality Operations Team in Ghent. In this hands‑on position you will help ensure the safety and quality of life‑saving cell‑therapy products by supporting clean‑room activities, sample transfers and environmental monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Assist QC analysts and team leaders with cleaning, disinfecting and preparing equipment and laboratory materials.
• Manage the safe transfer of samples between production zones and logistics centres, following strict GMP procedures.
• Support environmental monitoring in grade C and D areas.
• Document all cleaning, disinfection and sample‑handling activities in logs, forms or the eLIMS system.
• Maintain aseptic conditions while working on a shift schedule (weekends, no night shifts).

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; strong focus on quality, accuracy and learning.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or English with clear communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, systematic and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow GMP regulations and work in a regulated laboratory environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Basic familiarity with electronic lab management systems (eLIMS) – training will be provided.
