QA Engineer – Pharmaceutical Quality Systems

About the role

Vulcain Engineering Belgium is seeking a QA Engineer to join its consulting team, supporting the quality assurance of medicinal products in a regulated environment. You will work closely with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with GMP and related standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review product manufacturing and testing against established quality standards and marketing authorizations.
• Manage quality systems, including change control, deviations, and product investigations.
• Ensure contractor quality protocols meet GMP requirements and review batch abstracts for product release.
• Monitor contractor compliance through GxP documentation reviews and on‑site audits.
• Distribute contractor documentation for regulatory, validation, and subject‑matter expert review.
• Respond to technical and quality issues, handling schedule or process conflicts.
• Track contractor performance, establish KPIs, and report adverse trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 3‑5 years of experience in a cGxP or other regulated environment.
• At least 1 year in a quality role within the life‑sciences sector.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high‑quality work.
• Fluency in English and French.
