Purchasing & Sourcing Officer

About the role

As a Purchasing & Sourcing Officer at Trasis, you will lead market analysis, supplier selection, and contract negotiations to ensure a reliable and cost‑effective supply chain. You will work closely with internal teams to align procurement processes with the company’s strategic goals, especially in the fight against cancer.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and subcontractors, including contracts, quality agreements, and dispute resolution.
• Negotiate purchasing terms and optimize production costs.
• Define procurement processes and communicate new supplier agreements across the organization.
• Maintain accurate ERP data, monitor budget expenditures, and contribute to expense tracking.
• Conduct risk analyses of suppliers and propose mitigation strategies.
• Develop and implement performance metrics and purchasing strategies for your area.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, international trade, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role.
• Strong command of French and English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proactive, organized, and results‑oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks.
