Purchasing Assistant

About the role

As a Purchasing Assistant at Lambda‑X High‑Tech, you will support the full procurement lifecycle in a fast‑moving high‑tech environment. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that all purchases are properly documented, delivered on time, and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process and monitor purchase orders, verifying that all technical documentation (drawings, specifications, certificates) is complete and compliant.
• Coordinate with suppliers to track deliveries, obtain missing documents, and maintain strong relationships.
• Support supplier quality activities by managing non‑conformities, returns, and corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools, including enhancements to the Odoo purchasing module.
• Assist in supplier negotiations and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Degree in supply chain, logistics, economics, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Strong organizational skills, proactive attitude, and ability to prioritize workload.
• Comfortable taking initiative, identifying improvement opportunities, and driving solutions.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
