Public Relations Specialist

About the role

CATL, a global leader in battery manufacturing technologies, is seeking a Public Relations Specialist to support its expanding operations and market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications strategies for the local market.
• Manage relationships with local media and key opinion leaders (KOLs), and explore new branding opportunities.
• Build and maintain a network of KOLs, journalists, academia, investors, and other stakeholders to enhance corporate image.
• Plan and organize communication activities for trade fairs, events, exhibitions, and conferences.
• Write and polish press releases, statements, interview Q&As, and executive speeches.
• Support global PR initiatives and coordinate with CATL subsidiaries worldwide.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in media, public relations, or marketing.
• Experience in international PR, preferably in the battery, automotive, or energy sectors.
• Fluent in the local language and English, with strong interpersonal and social media skills.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and in a multicultural environment.
