Public Relations Manager

About the role

CATL is expanding its European operations and seeks a seasoned Public Relations Manager to shape and protect its reputation across the EU. You will monitor EU investment, trade and industrial policies, turning insights into strategic opportunities while mitigating risks.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse EU policy developments and assess their impact on the company’s business.
• Build and maintain strong communication channels with EU governmental bodies at all levels.
• Develop relationships with industry organisations and trade associations to foster a supportive environment for CATL’s growth.
• Identify policy opportunities, advise internal stakeholders, and coordinate responses to regulatory changes.
• Represent the company in public forums, conferences and stakeholder meetings.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher, preferably in International Politics, Public Relations, Economics, Media, Materials, Chemistry or Physics.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with a deep understanding of industrial policies and established government contacts.
• Proven ability to navigate international political environments and local government operations.
• Fluent English (working language); German proficiency is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication, with strong planning capabilities.
