Public Policy Manager – Cardiovascular Health

About the role

The Public Policy Manager – Cardiovascular Health will lead external policy and public affairs strategy for cardiovascular health in Belgium and Luxembourg. You will shape the policy environment, advance patient‑centered solutions and build strategic partnerships to improve prevention, diagnosis, treatment and access to innovative care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the healthcare, policy and stakeholder ecosystems in Belgium and Luxembourg, focusing on cardiovascular health.
• Monitor policy developments and stakeholder priorities, and support the design and implementation of advocacy initiatives.
• Build and maintain constructive relationships with policymakers, healthcare professionals, patient organisations, scientific societies and other stakeholders.
• Support participation in BACH and other relevant alliances, policy forums and multi‑stakeholder initiatives.
• Contribute to cross‑functional projects and share external insights with Medical Affairs, Market Access, External Affairs and global teams.
• Participate in broader healthcare and public policy projects beyond cardiovascular health.

Required profile

• University degree in science, pharmacy, medicine or health economics; law, political science or economics/finance is an asset.
• At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, a health authority or governmental body.
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions and a strong existing network (asset).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French, English and Dutch.
• Team player with a creative, positive mindset and strong storytelling ability.
• Customer‑oriented, robust project‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple projects.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and trustworthy attitude, with a capacity to generate innovative ideas.
