Public Buyer

About the role

TMC is looking for a Public Buyer to lead and optimise procurement processes for internal stakeholders. You will ensure purchasing activities comply with regulations while delivering cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse organisational needs and translate them into procurement strategies.
• Conduct market research, draft specifications and define selection and award criteria.
• Evaluate supplier offers, negotiate terms and justify contract awards.
• Monitor contracts, assess supplier performance and manage complaints or penalties.
• Identify and implement procurement process improvements and report progress to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably with 3P processes.
• Advanced knowledge of contract management, supplier evaluation, logistics and regulatory compliance.
• Strong negotiation and offer‑management abilities.
• Fluent in Dutch or French and English.
