Public Affairs Intern – Belgian Policy

About the role
Political Intelligence Brussels is looking for a motivated Public Affairs Intern to support its Belgian public policy work across the digital and energy sectors. You will work closely with senior consultants, helping to shape client strategies and monitor fast‑moving policy debates.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in organizing external meetings, events, conferences and hearings.
- Track key policy debates within Belgium’s political institutions.
- Prepare regular monitoring reports and concise policy analyses.
- Support the development and management of client projects aligned with strategic public‑policy goals.
- Attend seminars, workshops and other relevant events to gather insights.
Required profile
- Fluent in Dutch or French, with a good knowledge of the other national language, and full proficiency in English.
- Strong interest in Belgian politics and public policy.
- University degree in Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, Economics, Law or a related field.
- Excellent analytical abilities and capacity to summarise complex documents.
- Assertive, flexible and able to work autonomously.

- Monthly allowance of €1,095 for a six‑month internship.
