Proposal Manager

About the role

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead the development of complex proposals (generally over $5M) in Nivelles, Belgium. Reporting to the Proposal Management Director, you will oversee commercial and pricing aspects, ensure compliance with governance processes, and coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the offer development process for large/complex offers, including responsibility matrix, schedule, RFQ requirements, and bid status meetings.
• Prepare full draft commercial bid descriptions, pricing, terms of payment, T&C’s, and support negotiations up to contract signature.
• Develop and integrate cost models, ensuring accurate cost rates, overheads, escalation, reserves and margin targets.
• Ensure adherence to Westinghouse governance procedures, determine LOA levels, and coordinate approval documentation.
• Collaborate with finance, sales and technical departments to support financial objectives, risk mitigation and pricing strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with IT tools such as SAP, D365, PowerBI or PRIME.
